Cuticle Products

Hellooo everyone. :) Hope you guys are enjoying your Sunday. Soo, I got the picture idea from Rei (IG: @reinovate) on Instagram, because it looks like we have the same editing app. ♥ (A Beautiful Mess) I have gotten questions before from a couple of people about what I use for my cuticles. Also about how I get my nails to be long and strong.

Those are all the products I normally use on a daily basis or in between manicures. From Left to Right:
- Essie Apricot Cuticle Oil
- Essie Grow Faster base coat
- Essie Grow Stronger base coat
- OPI Diamond Nail File
- OPI Nail Envy Original
- OPI Antiseptic spray (just alcohol really)
- Sally Hansen Instant Cuticle Remover
- Spring Valley Biotin 5,000 mcg
- Sally Hansen Apricot Cuticle Massage Cream
- Bath & Body Works Vermont Honey Apple sugar scrub (MY FAVORITE)
- Cuticle sticks
- Lemony Flutter cuticle butter (CANT LIVE WITHOUT)
- True Blue Paraffin hand lotion from Bath & Body works

I also pictured the tape I use for tape manis, my clean up brushes, and the little OPI dish from my nail kit that I put acetone in for clean up.
I use cuticle butters and oils every day to keep them moisturized, and to me that's what helps my nails grow more. Then I push my cuticles back with my longest nail, and massage them again. I double up on biotin (four a day), which helps with hair, skin, and nails. I use alternate with base coats: if my nails are looking good and strong I use nail envy, if they start to peel or if some are breaking more than others I use grow stronger, if I have nubs from breakage I use a coat of grow faster AND nail envy with each manicure.

I use lemony flutter all. the. time. & Of course before bed. When I feel my nails are dry and my cuticles as well- or if I have naked nails then I use the apricot oil whenever. I use my mini paraffin lotion everyday. I keep it in my purse and when my hands feel dry and ashy (lol) I use it. I HATE greasy lotions, but this one is just right- I use a small dot which goes a long way. And before pictures I use this Ruby Kisses cuticle oil that smells so delicious and it dries almost instantly. It feels like a dry rub verses how oily Essie apricot cuticle oil.

The first picture is when I just swiped a little Essie on my cuticle (pointer), and the second is when i rubbed it in. You can see that it still looks a little oily and it even ran down my fingers.
The first picture is when I just swiped a little of the Ruby Kisses oil on my cuticle (ring finger), and the second is when I rubbed it in. It doesn't run, or anything. It dries right up but, leaves my cuticles hydrated. That's why I love using this oil before pictures.

I hope you guys like my first real nail related blog post, haha.
